The Geeta Reader App offers the complete text and audio of The Bhagwad Geeta (The Song of God) in both original Sanskrit and paraphrased English. The audio chanting is performed by H.H. Swami Brahamananda of Chinmay Mission, with the English paraphrasing done by Sri Aurobindo.
Users can benefit from features such as easy navigation, search tools for both English and Sanskrit, and the ability to share verses (Sanskrit, English, and Audio) via Text (SMS), email, WhatsApp, Facebook, or other apps. Please note that some apps may experience issues with audio sharing, but this can be disabled through preferences.
Moreover, Siri support is included, enabling users to initiate the playback of a specific verse with voice commands like “Play Eleventh verse of Third Chapter with GeetaReader” or “Play Third Chapter with GeetaReader”. Control over playback functions such as Play/Pause, Previous Verse, and Next Verse is also accessible from the Lock screen.
